I am about half way through reading Crush It by Gary Vaynerchuk and I must say that it is a very interesting and motivating book. It is only about 140 pages but I like books that are around that size because I don’t feel overwhelmed at first and I know I can finish no matter how busy I might be.

The book is about creating your personal brand by using the Internet. Now, this isn’t just a book telling you to start a blog or join Twitter. It is about creating a personal brand regardless of what the platform is , it just so happens that the Internet is the fastest growing and soon to be dominate platform for expressing yourself and creating a brand for yourself.

I can’t wait to get done reading this book, it has motivated me even more to start my internet company that I have been wanting to start for some time.

Aug. 13 (Bloomberg) — The air traffic controller handling the small plane that crashed with a helicopter above the Hudson River was on the telephone at the time of the crash, the Federal Aviation Administration said.

The controller’s supervisor also wasn’t in the building, as required, at the time of the Aug. 8 crash that killed nine, the FAA said today in a statement.
